Moisture Analysis in the Dairy Industry
The MoistScan® MA-700 in-pipe online moisture meter is particularly
suitable for use in the dairy industry where pipe conveyors are
commonly used. Typically the MA-700 sensor is used to measure
the moisture in butter and processed cheese.
The MoistScan MA-700 is very accurate. Typical instrument
precision can be as high as 0.3%. However, this is application
dependent.
The MA-700 was developed by Callidan Instruments in cooperation
with the Australian Dairy Industry. The analyser is
primarily used for process automation purposes using PID
control.
The MoistScan® MA-700 can also be used to salt content online.
